Dr. Hakhamaneshi is a graduate of University of California, Davis and his research focused on implementation of innovative techniques for retrofit of existing buildings. He has over 10 published journal article and over 20 published conference papers.
Dr. Hakhamaneshi has over 5 years of industry experience in Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering and has served on some key projects such as California High Speed Train, Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center, and E12-E80 Connector Bridge.

Babak Kamrani, Ph.D., PE (CA)
Principal Engineer
Dr.Kamrani is a licensed experienced engineer with 8 years of experience in Earthquake Engineering; Soil Structure Interaction; Seismic Analysis and Design; Geotechnical Engineering; Design of Shallow and Deep Foundations; Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis; and Uncertainty Quantification of Numerical Simulations.
Dr.Kamrani has served as Project Engineer and Senior Earthquake engineer for a variety of projects. He has been an adjunct faculty at Cal Polytechnic State University, SLO, and reviewer for peer reviewed engineering journals.

Majid Kazerani, MSc, PE (CA)
Associate Project Engineer
Mr. Kazerani is a well-experienced Civil Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Majid is an expert is Project Management, Geotechnical Field Testing and Monitoring, Construction Management and Monitoring.
Mr. Kazerani is an expert in general Civil Engineering software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation, and Geotechnical Engineering software such as Plaxis, SHAFT, LPILE, Shoring Suites, and SnailPlus.
A&J also has a team of 5 Staff Structural Engineers/Drafters. All our staff hold a BSc in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 6 years of industry experience. Our engineers are well experienced in the design of light frame wood structures, reinforced concrete structures, reinforced and unreinforced masonary structures, and foundation engineering. They are also all proficient in RISA 3D, Woodworks (Shearwalls, Sizer, and Connections), SAFE, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
